These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of trustedtradesfinder.com (the “Site”), operated by Shuraim Abdul Aziz (“we,” “us”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms.

1. What the Site is

TrustedTradesFinder is a directory of licensed contractors (plumbers, electricians, HVAC, and roofing/general contractors) compiled from official public state licensing records. See Sourcing & Methodology for exactly which state agency each listing comes from. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any state government, licensing board, or regulatory agency. Listing information is republished as a convenience and may lag behind the state’s own records — always verify license status directly with the issuing state before making a hiring decision.

2. Free listings and paid subscriptions

Every contractor with an active license in a state we cover already has a free listing, generated from that state’s public records. Contractors may separately purchase a Verified & Featured subscription ($49/month, billed monthly, cancel anytime) that adds a verification badge and priority placement to their own existing listing. Subscriptions are billed and processed by Paddle.com Market Limited (“Paddle”), our authorized reseller and merchant of record. Paddle handles payment collection, taxes, and billing support for these transactions — see Paddle’s own terms for the payment relationship itself. 3. License verification

A Verified & Featured subscription can only be purchased for a state/trade/license number that matches an existing listing already in our directory. We verify this before checkout opens. Submitting false or someone else’s license information to purchase a subscription is prohibited.

4. Claiming a listing

Anyone may mark a free listing as “claimed” after confirming it matches a real, existing license record. Claiming does not verify identity or ownership and does not unlock any paid feature — it is a low-stakes status flag, not a security control. We may revert a claim at our discretion if we believe it was made in error or bad faith.

5. Reviews and submitted content

Reviews and quote requests submitted through the Site must be honest, accurate to your own experience, and not defamatory, fraudulent, or submitted on behalf of a business you have no genuine connection to. We may remove or decline to publish any submission at our discretion, including reviews we believe are fake, incentivized undisclosed, or abusive.

6. No warranty on listing accuracy

The Site is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee that any listing is current, complete, or accurate, or that any contractor listed is appropriately licensed, insured, or qualified for any specific job. Hiring decisions are your own responsibility — we recommend independently verifying license status, insurance, and references before hiring any contractor found through this Site.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Site, reliance on listing information, or any dealings between you and a contractor found through the Site, including indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
